Subscription purchase with faulty oil diffuser
I recently got this subscription that came with an oil diffuser, but man, I ran into some issues with the stuff they sent me. The subscription itself was alright, no problems there, but the oil diffuser crapped out on me pretty quick. And on top of that, I never got the oil for the third month like they promised. When I tried to reach out to them about it, they weren't much help. It felt like they cared more about making money than making sure their customers are happy. Plus, the price they were charging for the oil was way too high compared to what you can find on Amazon.
Faulty diffuser, poor customer service, attempted upsell, scam allegations
The diffuser I got from this company crapped out in less than two months, started leaking oil all over and messed up my furniture. So I contacted Customer Service for some help and they were no help at all, just tried to sell me a pricier replacement. Can you believe they're trying to make money off of their own junk? And get this, turns out they're being looked into for ripping off folks who signed up for a subscription. What a shady operation, for real.
Expensive subscription for oils
This company is total bogus! They suck you in with claims of top-notch oils, then lock you into a never-ending, pricey subscription. Canceling is a nightmare and good luck finding their customer service. I attempted to talk to a manager to end my subscription, but got crickets. Who in their right mind shells out $3000 for oils?! Stay far away from this company.
Electrical appliance malfunction
I had a bad experience with this electric appliance. It stopped working after only a year, which was a big disappointment. When I contacted customer service for help, they weren't very helpful and seemed more interested in getting more money out of me. I was upset to find out that the product had been discontinued, making me think its poor quality was to blame. They suggested I buy another product, but I refused because I had lost trust in the brand. I recommend avoiding this company and their unreliable products to save yourself time and money.
Difficult experience with Hotel Collection
I had a really bad experience with Hotel Collection when I made two purchases recently. The first time I bought a $300 diffuser, but they sent me a $20 reed diffuser instead. They claimed they double-checked orders, but obviously not mine. It took a lot of effort to finally get the right item after sending multiple pictures and dealing with lots of frustration. The second time, my mom got me a Star Wars diffuser for Christmas, but they sent the wrong one. After more back and forth, they did eventually send the correct one, but it was clearly used. The box wasn't sealed, no inner wrappings, stains on the cord and inside, and no fragrance oil holder. It was a major disappointment.
Diffuser purchase
My experience with the diffuser was really disappointing. The first one I got looked like it was already used, it wasn't packaged right, and it was missing important parts. Even though the oil smelled nice, the diffuser itself was in bad shape. I reached out to customer service and they sent me a replacement, but that one was missing a key piece too.

Less than 2 months after I bought the diffuser, it started leaking oil all over my new sofa table, messing it up real bad. When I got in touch with Customer Service at Hotel Collection, they didn't really help me out. Instead of fixing the problem or giving me a refund or new table, they tried to sell me a more expensive item. Plus, they signed me up for monthly oil deliveries without even asking me, so now I keep getting annoying calls to try to sell me more stuff. My time dealing with Hotel Collection has been super letdown and aggravating.
Candles and reed diffusers
The candles and reed diffusers are awesome! They smell so good and the scent lingers for a really long time, making my whole house smell fantastic. The only downside was when they gave me a call after I made my order, trying to push me into signing up for their VIP program. It felt a little intrusive, asking for all that personal info over the phone. It seemed a bit shady, like it could be a scam or something. I politely declined and just stuck with my original purchase.
Order experience
I just dropped $700 at this hotel and out of nowhere, they hit me with a bunch of calls and texts pushing me to buy more stuff like their VIP program. The salesperson was so pushy and didn't even listen when I said no. It really soured the whole experience for me. When I'm spending that much money, I expect top-notch service and respect.
Subscription with hidden costs
I had the worst experience with the product I bought! It was supposed to be a simple subscription, but it ended up having all these hidden fees just like a credit card. Now, I'm trying to cancel it, but getting in touch with customer service is impossible. They are completely unresponsive.
Diffuser purchase with missing parts and poor customer service
I just bought a diffuser from this company, and was pretty bummed to find out that one of them was actually a return from another customer. It was missing parts and looked all greasy. So I reached out to their customer service to try and get it sorted, but I've been running into a bunch of issues and haven't gotten much of a response. My whole experience with this company has been super disappointing and just plain frustrating. I'd recommend folks to stay away from this company and find somewhere else to shop.
I got a Mystery Gift
So, I got this Mystery Gift from this one place and I was so pumped to see what it was gonna be. But guess what? It was just a stupid discount card! I tried to use it on their website but the link was broken or something. So I had to go to their main site and guess what? I couldn't even order anything with the dumb card, even if it was less than the amount of the card. Like, what's the point of sending a discount card if you can't even use it, right? And then they had the nerve to charge me $9.95 for shipping and $4.95 for a safe ship for the "mystery gift" which was just a stupid discount card! And they want the same amount to ship any of their other items. Like, come on, why do I have to pay more money just to use the gift card they sent me in the first place? It's so annoying!
2 Aromatic generators
I bought 2 scent machines from this store not too long ago and let me tell you, what a letdown. The timer on one of them was busted from the get-go. After hitting them up about it a bunch of times, I finally heard back from Shan. Can you believe they had the nerve to say that the model I got just 5 weeks back was already outdated? And then they had the nerve to try and sell me some fancy "wireless unit" for an extra hundred bucks. I couldn't believe it!

I bought a diffuser from this company and it was a really bad experience. I bought the diffuser for $200 two months ago and never got it. I tried calling customer service and even filed a claim, but I never heard back from them. It was so frustrating and disappointing.
Diffuser tower purchase
I just bought a diffuser tower from this company and let me tell you, their customer service is the worst. The dang thing just froze up after only 4 months of using it and when I tried to get help, they basically said tough luck and that I needed to fork over more money for a new diffuser. I dropped over $600 on this thing and now it's useless with zero help from them. Seriously, I'm beyond disappointed and annoyed at how they treat their customers.

My diffuser crapped out on me after using it for only 3 months. So I contacted Customer Service and they wanted me to send a video showing the problem. After I sent the video, they said I could buy a new diffuser for $150 bucks. I asked if I could get a free replacement or get my money back, but they turned me down. It was super aggravating, and I definitely wouldn't suggest buying from this company unless you're into throwing your money away.
Defective home scent diffusers
I bought three of these home scent diffusers because they had really nice smells. But, like, two of them just stopped working right after not much time at all. When I asked for a replacement, they made me go through all these troubleshooting steps over and over. I did everything they said, but the diffusers still didn’t work. After bugging them a lot, they told me the warranty was already up and I had to buy new ones. It was so annoying and not fair because the diffusers were messed up for no reason of mine.
Diffuser purchase - costly and problematic
I've been waiting a few months to give my feedback on the diffuser I bought, and I have to admit, I'm pretty disappointed. I feel like the diffusers cost too much for all the problems I've had. One of the big issues I noticed was that the two diffusers I got didn't match up, especially when it came to the long hose they came with - it was all bent out of shape and made the diffuser not work right. On top of that, there are these rubber pieces that look like donuts that come with the diffuser, and one is bigger than the other. They keep falling into the bottles, which is annoying and makes the diffuser not work well. All in all, I'm not happy with how the diffusers are made and I'd like to get a refund.
MiniPro Diffuser set and VIP program
The VIP program is a SCAM and they just want your money.
I was lied to about reimbursing my shipping costs when they were the ones who did NOT include a shipping label which they promised they would.
The total cost was $120.65, which I never would have paid if they told me they WOULD NOT reimburse. However, I have it in writing that THEY WOULD. But they refuse to honor this since I cancelled the VIP program.Studio Scent Diffuser
I purchased two studio scent diffusers in Sept 2022. At first I was so happy with them - I had them in different areas and loved the scent (24 Magic). I had family and friends ask me about the scent and three of them purchased the studio scent diffuser as well. Within a few months two of my friends asked me if I had any issues with my diffusers and I said "no" (and honestly thought it was just bad luck they received troublesome equipment) and told them to call customer service. Then about seven months after my purchases, one of mine stopped working. I reached out to customer service and they said since it's out of their warranty period they would offer me one at a discount. I understood and paid for the replacement. Three months later the replacement stopped working and had to be replaced again. Less than a year from the purchase date the second one started to make a loud noise. After several troubleshooting procedures that customer service recommended nothing worked - the unit still makes a sound noise. Finally, customer service responded with "we can replace it for $150". At this rate every few months I will have to purchase a new diffuser as the company does not stand by their equipment. If you are willing to replace your equipment frequently at your cost then this is the product for you. Personally I am highly disappointed at their response and quality of the diffuser. I guess my friends and I were unluckily and we received faulty product that HC won't replace (because conveniently its out of the warranty period - which is one month).
In case it isn't abundantly clear the diffuser doesn't work after a few months and HC will not replace it. I am extremely dissatisfied with the product.
