I was halfway into putting it together when the finish started flaking off — that’s how I knew right away this wasn’t what the listing implied. I unboxed it two days after delivery and used it around the house for a few short tasks that same afternoon. At first glance the parts seemed okay, but after handling it the plastic felt thin, edges were sharp, screws didn’t seat cleanly and the mechanism was stiff. In use the moving parts stuck sometimes, and the weight distribution felt off so it wobbled. The coating had a cheap texture, not like higher-end stuff. I paid as if it were US-made, but the item had obvious cost-cut corners. I asked for a replacement because a section was defective; they wanted me to cover return shipping. Annoying, but the real issue was the poor build — functional in a loose sense, not reliable.
Tight fit, nice padding though
Was kinda psyched when this arrived — opened the box, looked solid and felt like good build quality right away. Tried it on the same day and, yeah, it’s way too small for me even though I ordered a large (I’m about 140 lbs). The weird part is how well-made it feels; the padding surprised me, actually comfortable against the skin, so I know it could work if it fit. Tried to start an exchange but return shipping from Canada to the US would be on me, which felt off — that would cost almost as much as the brace. So stuck with something expensive I can’t use. Customer service wasn’t very helpful about that.
A rocky start but not a total loss
my overall feeling is cautiously positive — mostly because they did agree to fix things, even though getting there was a pain. I bought a filter kit for my So Clean from Ober Health back in mid-December and almost immediately noticed my card was hit twice. Even weirder, my bank showed multiple denied attempts by Ober Health before anything finally went through. So yeah, alarm bells.
The conclusion first: they acknowledged the error and said they'd refund the extra charge, which is better than some places that stonewall. But the experience to get there felt unnecessary. The order confirmation I got electronically showed only one kit, and when I pointed that out they insisted I’d ordered two — only later saying the second one hadn’t been shipped. After a handful of emails (I counted at least six) they finally agreed to refund the second charge. That felt like progress, but I still haven’t seen the money back and it’s been well over a month now.
What annoyed me the most was the back-and-forth and the “processing time” explanation. Ober Health kept saying the hold-up was because it was an international transaction. I get delays sometimes, I’ve dealt with other vendors where a refund posts in a week, but 45 days felt excessive and left me wondering if there was some odd banking float going on. I don’t like assuming the worst, but it’s hard not to be suspicious when it drags on that long.
On the plus side, the reps I did talk to were polite and did eventually accept responsibility; they didn’t argue endlessly or disappear, which I appreciated. Compared to previous companies that ignored me or gave scripted responses, this was at least human. The product itself was fine — no complaints there — and the price wasn’t crazy. So if you’re buying and don’t mind chasing down the billing, you’ll probably be okay. If you want a hassle-free refund or fast international processing, be prepared to wait and keep good records.
Bottom line: useful product and a staff that will admit a mistake, but plan on some extra time and patience if billing gets messy. I’d give them another shot but I’ll be watching my statements closely next time.Velcro that actually helps (but expect a wait)

Back brace for post-surgery recovery
I just bought a back brace for my post-surgery healing, and I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about the service. It's been more than three weeks now, and I still haven't gotten my brace. I don't think it's cool that it's taking so long, even if it's coming from China. Like, come on, it's a medical thing that people might need right away. I'm not gonna buy from this company again, and I suggest going with someone else like Temu, they get stuff out quicker.

I bought a portable CPAP machine from this company, and I gotta say, it was a total disaster. They charged my credit card twice, and the machine itself was made with low-quality materials that gave me a sinus infection within days of using it. Shoulder Brace for Tendonitis Torn Rotator Cuff Frozen Shoulder
I recently bought a Shoulder Brace for Tendonitis, Torn Rotator Cuff, and Frozen Shoulder (got the left shoulder option) from Ober Health, and let me tell you, it went above and beyond what I expected. Even though there were some not-so-great reviews talking about long shipping times, I got mine in about 4 weeks, which was actually pretty reasonable considering it was during the holidays and it came all the way from China to Florida. The brace itself is really cool and comfy, with a cuff that you can adjust using Velcro strips to support your shoulder at any angle you need. It was a big step up from the bulky sling I originally picked up locally, making it super easy for me to move around and still give my shoulder the help it needed. Plus, the brace looked nice and fit my small frame just right. Overall, I'm super happy with this product.
