Funky home decor
Hey, so I ordered some awesome stuff for my room online about nine days ago, and I'm still waiting for it to arrive! I mean, what's going on? They haven't even sent it out yet, and I can't even reach anyone to check on the status. It's really frustrating, you know? They said they offer Live Chat, but I can't seem to find it on their site at all. And being put on hold for what feels like forever, three times now, is definitely not a good time. They claimed to have increased their customer service capacity, but I'm still here waiting. Plus, they said they partnered with new shipping companies to speed things up, but that's not what I'm experiencing! Isn't that false advertising or what?
Home decor and kitchen goods
My time at World Market was absolutely frustrating. I was on the phone forever with a customer service rep who just couldn't seem to understand plain English. And to top it off, part of my order was randomly cancelled because they said my credit card got declined, even though it worked fine for the other items. Their system for tracking inventory is a mess - things show as available online but are actually out of stock in the store. I emailed customer service several times and got zero response. Trust me, if you want to keep your time and your sanity, stay far away from this hot mess.
Home decor purchase
I bought a home decor item from this store not too long ago. But man, let me tell you, I was totally let down by their return policy. So get this - the item was still in the dang original packaging, never even laid eyes on it, and they still wouldn't take it back! Unreal, right? I mean, c'mon now, as a customer, it just doesn't seem right to deny returns on something brand-spankin' new.
Online purchase with pricing discrepancy
I recently bought something online, and I ran into a problem with the billing. I loaded up my cart with stuff and signed up for a membership to get free shipping and a discount. The total looked right when I checked my cart, but when I went to pay, the total suddenly went up before I could finish my purchase. It was confusing and annoying because I was ready to pay the amount I saw in my cart. So, I reached out to customer service about the issue, but the person, Michelle, didn't really seem to care. She said there was nothing she could do to fix it. I was really let down by the lack of concern and the fact that they couldn't correct the billing mistake. It left a bad taste in my mouth about the company. All in all, the online shopping experience was messed up by the unexpected price hike and the disappointing customer service.
Cool rug
I'm really disappointed about this awesome rug I ordered online. It's taking forever to arrive and I'm getting different excuses from customer service. I just really want my cool rug, you know? They need to figure it out.
Holiday items ordered
I recently bought some holiday stuff from the store and didn't have a great experience with their customer service. They said my order would ship in 2-3 days, but it took 8 days and only half of it was shipped. When I asked about the delay, the customer service folks I talked to were not helpful and didn't act professionally. They asked for info I had already given them at the start, and didn't seem interested in fixing the problem. The first person I talked to ended our chat out of the blue with no useful info, and the second person was dismissive. All they gave me was a useless tracking number and said I had to figure out the shipment status on my own. It was really disappointing and annoying to deal with such bad communication and unhelpfulness from the customer service team.
Place settings purchased
Worst experience ever! I ordered a set of seven place settings for my new home right before the holidays. But when the package arrived, all I got were salad plates - no dinner plates, no bowls. And to make matters worse, there was no heads up that the other items were out of stock. It was a terrible experience all around.
Outdoor chairs
I bought some outdoor chairs that ended up falling apart in just a few months. When I tried to return them, they wouldn't take them back. They don't back up their products and their customer service is awful. I definitely won't be shopping here again.
Cute ceramics and fun snacks
I was really looking forward to checking out World Market for some adorable ceramics and yummy snacks, but it ended up being a bit of a letdown. It seemed like everything was made in China, and I was hoping to find items from other countries too, like Korea, Vietnam, and Japan. It would be great if they could separate the food section by nationality because not all oriental products are alike, you feel me? In the end, I only picked up a couple of things and left feeling a bit disappointed.
Variety of products
Don't bother with ordering from this place. Sure, they've got a ton of stuff to choose from, but their customer service is pretty terrible. I placed an order on their website and it wasn't filled correctly. When I tried to get some help, I got totally blown off. It was a major headache from start to finish.

I had a pretty disappointing experience with the service at this place. I bought some home decor stuff from their online store, and they kept telling me they tried to deliver it multiple times. But I checked, and there was no sign of anyone trying to deliver anything to my house. I tried to talk to customer service about it, but I haven't heard back from them yet. I just bought some furniture from World Market and man, what a mess. I ordered it online and they gave me an estimated delivery date, but that came and went with no furniture in sight. I tried reaching out to them through email, phone, even complained to their shipping carrier, but I got nowhere. They kept putting me on hold forever and never gave me a good answer. They had no clue where my stuff was, just that it was on its way. After waiting for weeks, I had to go ahead and report it as fraud to my credit card company because I never got the furniture.
Hungarian paprika
I ordered some Hungarian paprika online and was really looking forward to picking it up at the store. But when I got there, they were out of stock even though their website said they had it! Can you believe that? They didn't even try to see if any other stores in the area had it. Such a disappointment and a total waste of my time.
Home goods and food
I really enjoyed shopping at this store! They have so many different types of food, home decor, and cool gifts. I was really impressed with all the imported stuff from around the world, like German candies, Japanese teas, and Italian cooking items. The store was super organized and easy to find my way around, which made my shopping trip nice and easy. The staff was really friendly and helpful, giving me recommendations and answering all my questions. The prices were fair considering the quality of the products. Overall, I totally recommend this store if you're looking for some unique and interesting things for your home or kitchen.
Dinnerware set
I got this adorable dinnerware set from this store, you know? I was really looking forward to using it, but man, when it showed up, the packaging was all messed up. Some of the dishes were broken and everything. I tried to get a refund, but the customer service was nowhere to be found. I emailed them, sent photos, called them like 4 times, and still didn't get any help. It was so irritating, like, for real!

Wow, what a disaster! I was so looking forward to adding some cool decor pieces to my home, but let me tell you, the customer service at that place is a total nightmare. They talk a big game about price matching and credits, but as soon as you hand over your money, poof, those promises vanish into thin air. I've been going back and forth with them for weeks now, only to hear the same thing on repeat. It's beyond frustrating. And to top it off, their brand manager, Mike, had solid proof that I deserved a special price on my items, yet still wouldn't give it to me. Can you believe that?
Large area rug purchase
Do not bother ordering from this store online, especially for furniture or rugs. I made the mistake of trying to get a big area rug not available in-store a month ago, so I had to resort to placing an online order. After waiting for 2 weeks, I got an email saying my order got canceled because they only had 25 in stock. How does that even make sense, you know? Lost all my rewards points on that order, which was a real pain. Gave it another shot and tried ordering the same rug again, only to have it canceled once more after 2 weeks. When I tried contacting customer service and asked for a manager, was pretty much ignored and told he was too busy to talk to me. The poor communication and terrible customer service just left me feeling so frustrated and let down. Dealing with this company was an absolute nightmare. Just be careful if you're thinking about ordering from them, because the service is seriously below par.
Online Christmas shopping order
After placing the order and paying for it....I was notified the next day the order was cancelled. If the items aren't in stock when ordering it should be noted by the selected item. Poor business practice.
Awesome coffee table
I purchased the round white marble coffee table , its so minimalistic on deign and goes perfect with the room decor of mine. the marble is really good in quality also i love how cool the design is it was easy to set it and the packaging was quite good . Aart from amazing quality and decent pricing, i relly liked my shopping experience from. it was my first shopping , and i was not that sure before buying but i am thankful to the amazing services for making me so assured. And the options are just amazing ! it was really wonderful shopping experience for me
