Unreliable services
I joined this company hoping they could help with my mental health, but it turned out to be a big letdown. Brightside promised me medication management and therapy, but they didn't deliver. They not only made me pay more for a new provider, but they also charged me for services I never got. Even when I asked to cancel, they still charged me for another month. Their billing practices are unfair and exploit people in need. I've tried to fix things, but it hasn't worked out. At this point, I've given up on getting my money back and consider it a lost cause. I recommend staying far away from this company.
Prescription billing issues
Lately, I've been pretty frustrated with the company. Even though I haven't used their services in six months, they keep charging me random fees every month for supposed services that I haven't received. The same thing is happening to my husband too. We both got emails claiming we weren't charged for multiple dates of service, even though we didn't even have appointments on those days. What's even weirder is that the cost of each "service" is all over the place, even though we have the same insurance. When I tried to sort it out on the phone, they just kept giving me the run-around and told me to email them if I had any issues. Then they just abruptly hung up on me.
Therapy session experience
My experience at Brightside was really disappointing. I went in for a therapy session hoping to get some relief for my mental health, but the therapist I met with didn't really help at all. In fact, I felt even worse and more sick after the session. It's not right for someone in that kind of position to be so incompetent and unprofessional, especially when people like me are trying to get help.
Counseling appointment for anxiety
I was super excited to sign up for counseling at Brightside to help me with my anxiety, but it didn't go as smoothly as I thought. I had to change my appointment because something came up, and I was surprised when I found out they charged me $70 as a no-show fee. I looked through all the emails and screens they sent me, but I couldn't find where it said I needed to reschedule at least 24 hours before. I'm definitely going to dispute this fee because it just made me more anxious about my finances. This whole situation has been really stressful, especially since $70 is a lot of money, especially with prices going up so much lately.
Counseling experience
I had a counseling experience recently that I really want to talk about. It didn't go so well, to be honest. The counselors and doctors there were not very helpful. They were rude, made me doubt myself, and blamed me for my problems. I left each session feeling even worse than when I went in. It felt like they cared more about making money than actually helping people. They were always running late and I never felt like they really listened to me. It seemed like they were trying to push me to my breaking point instead of giving me the support I needed.
Medicine purchase
I can't believe it! I wouldn't even consider going to that place. The medication they gave me made me feel horrible, and then they surprised me with a huge bill. Total scam, do not go there!
Anxiety relief purchase
I was really disappointed with my experience! I took the anxiety test, scored high, and was hoping for some genuine help. Instead, all I got was some blood pressure meds and the usual depression pills. The lady I spoke to wasn't even really listening to me, she just wanted to give me more drugs! I felt ignored and rushed off the phone. I was really hoping for some relief from my anxiety and panic attacks, but all I got was a big disappointment. It's so frustrating!
Mental health help appointment
I was super pumped to finally get some mental health support that I really needed, but it ended up being a total disaster. Their website was down when I tried to cancel my appointment, and when I called the toll-free number and emailed for help, all they seemed to care about was getting paid. And to make matters worse, they hit me with a ridiculous late fee. I'm definitely steering clear of their services in the future and will be searching for better care somewhere else.
Prescription medication disaster
I just have to say, my experience with this company was a total disaster. It's hard to even know where to start. They not only messed up my prescription meds, but they totally dropped the ball on communication. I tried reaching out multiple times during a crisis and heard nothing back for over a week. That's just not okay, especially when it comes to mental health. Their lack of care and compassion ended up with me spending two days in a psychiatric ward last week. It's so frustrating that I had to go through all of that because of their neglect.
Overpriced disappointment
When I decided to buy something from this place, I was really hopeful but ended up super let down. The product was way too expensive for what it was, and the customer service was basically non-existent. When I tried to get some help, they were totally unprofessional and didn't even bother to respond. It feels like this company doesn't give a crap about their customers or making them happy. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
Mental health appointment
I had a mental health appointment at this place not long ago. I was told to get there five minutes early and stay ten minutes after just in case. But when it was time for my appointment, the psychiatrist didn't show up. I didn't get any messages or emails saying it was canceled or giving a reason for why they didn't make it. It's just not cool at all to treat a client like that, especially when they're looking for help.
Appointment Booking
I just had this really annoying situation with a mental health appointment booking app. The app was all glitchy, and I got charged a fee for missing my appointment even though I had screenshots to prove it wasn't my fault. But when I showed the screenshots to customer service, they didn't believe me and thought I made them up. It was frustrating to be accused of lying and blamed for something out of my control. Their lack of understanding and care made me wonder if this platform really cares about helping people with mental health problems.
Therapist 5 stars, Nurse Practitioners 1 star
Man, let me tell you about my therapist at that place - they were seriously sent from above, like an angel. They really got me through some super tough times. But then there were the nurse practitioners, ugh. They just didn't seem to have a clue, especially when it came to dealing with ADHD. I remember one time I asked them for help and they totally gave me the wrong answer. And don't even get me started on the meds they had me on, it was rough. They made me feel awful, like I was stuck in a deep, dark pit. When I told them it wasn't working for me, they just brushed it off like it was no biggie. Like seriously, why even give me something that you know is terrible for most people? And on top of all that, my nurse practitioner kept changing so often that I never got the right meds I needed to actually start feeling better.
Back payment invoiced
I can't believe it, Brightside just went ahead and sent me this invoice for back payment out of nowhere! Can you believe that? It totally messed up my plans to pay rent on time. And on top of that, no one at customer service even bothers to pick up the darn phone. I was beyond upset, honestly. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of that place!
Therapy appointment
I had an appointment with a therapist at this place not long ago, talking about my struggles with depression and trauma related to my adult kids. But then, out of the blue during our last chat, they dropped a bomb on me - said their "team" decided my depression was too severe for them to keep helping me. Man, that hit me hard. And to make things worse, they told me this on a Friday night! The therapist mentioned a few other places I could try, but honestly, I was feeling so fragile, I needed support now, not days later. It's pretty messed up that they would make such a heartless call that could seriously mess up people already in a tough spot.
Virtual doctor's appointments covered by insurance
I don't understand why some folks are leaving bad reviews about this place because it has seriously saved me. I had been trying to see a doctor in person for months, but then I discovered Brightside - they even take my insurance, so I'm all good. Ever since I started doing virtual appointments with them, my life has improved so much. I am beyond grateful to them. It's like a huge burden has been lifted off me now that I'm finally getting the medical attention I needed.
Waste of money
I spent 95 dollars on something I didn't even want, and now they won't give me a refund! I tried to schedule an appointment, but their customer service is so incompetent, they couldn't even assist me. I had to cancel everything because they wouldn't accommodate my schedule. Now I'm going to pester them with emails until I get my money back. Why do they have to make this process so challenging?
Dental work
I gotta be straight with you, this place is a total scam. I went in for some dental work and they hit me with a crazy bill that my insurance barely covered. Ended up shelling out almost $1600 in less than 2 months for just a basic dental job. The work was shoddy, the staff was super rude, and the whole thing was a disaster. Don't waste your cash here, find yourself a better dentist.
Psychiatric medication prescription
I had such a great experience with the mental health professional. They really listened to me and made sure I was well taken care of while getting my prescription for psychiatric medication.
Therapy Session
My time at Brightside was a real letdown. I felt like they totally took advantage of me, charging for stuff I never even got. The customer service was a joke - took forever to hear back from them. And don't even get me started on the therapist. They cursed like a sailor and didn't seem all there mentally. I'm definitely not going back there, and I'd tell others to stay far away too.
