Hotel booking issue
I just booked a hotel in Llangollen through a travel website for my vacation. When I got to the hotel, they couldn't find my reservation from the website. It was super frustrating and disappointing because I had to find another place to stay while already in a different city. I contacted customer service for help, but they weren't very helpful, leaving me feeling stranded and upset. The lack of communication and support from the customer service team made the whole situation even more disappointing and frustrating.
Package booking with travel website
I just booked a trip through a travel website and man, did I have a rough time. Missed my first flight, then tried to hop on the next one by myself, but turns out my trip got canceled. Dealing with customer service from both the website and the airline was a total mess. I was stuck on hold for over an hour, had to make a bunch of calls just to figure things out. The lack of clarity and responsibility was such a letdown, really got me all worked up.
Car rental booking issue
I booked a car rental in Phoenix through Expedia, but when I got to Hertz, they wouldn't honor the rate. Expedia said they would reimburse me the difference, but they never followed through. I have evidence of our agreement and messages confirming the rate and refund, but both Expedia and Hertz didn't seem to care. I won't be using either of them again.
Flight booking disappointment
I just booked a flight with this company and man, I was so let down by the service. They totally overcharged me, and when I tried to fix it, they just pointed fingers at the airline. I felt like I was getting the runaround with no solution in sight. Dealing with a company that doesn't care about their customers is seriously frustrating.
Car rental purchase
I recently rented a car through a travel website and ended up having a really bad experience. When I got the confirmation email, it was obvious that what was on there didn't match what I had originally bought. I spent a bunch of time on the phone with customer service, and it became clear that a lot of the reps were not being honest about the rental terms. Finally, one rep owned up to the mistake, but still tried to say that all the info had been given to me, which just wasn't true. As a result, I got hit with an unexpected $200 charge. When I tried to complain about it, the reps just kept lying and even tried to blame the rental agency even though they weren't at fault. My complaint got denied because the rental agency denied it, which just didn't make sense.
Difficulty canceling reservation due to upcoming weather
I tried so many times to cancel my reservation on Expedia because of an upcoming nor'easter storm, but every time I entered my itinerary number, the system didn't recognize it. Now I'm stuck after spending a lot of money. Just a heads up, if you decide to use Expedia, do it at your own risk. I ended up losing a good amount of cash.
Car rental booking issue
My experience with Expedia was just awful. I had a flight delay and needed to change the pick-up time for my car rental, but Expedia wouldn't help me out at all. They wouldn't even let me make the change myself. They ended up taking my money and didn't offer any help or service in return. It was really frustrating not getting any customer service or flexibility, and I definitely won't be using Expedia again.
Booked a hotel stay
I recently booked a hotel through this website and it turned out to be a pretty bad experience. Right after booking, I began receiving a ton of spam calls, and I have a feeling they might have sold my information. Plus, they promised that I could cancel for free up to 24 hours before the reservation, but when I actually tried to cancel, it was a no go.
My trip with the worst hotel experience
This company seriously needs to figure out what they're doing! I made a reservation through them and it was a disaster from start to finish. They downgraded my room at the hotel, there was no food when we got there, and they weren't even offering room service. It was absolutely ridiculous! On top of all that, the parking was a nightmare and the staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. I tried to address the issues with someone, but it seemed like no one was available to help. When I asked for a refund for the terrible room, it was like they were intentionally avoiding it! They just kept making excuses and trying to dodge giving me my money back. The whole situation was a mess and I'm completely fed up with this entire experience.
My recent booking on this website
I totally agree with all the negative things people are saying. They said they were offering free cancellations, but then changed their minds. They advertise VIP hotels that are actually really bad and refuse to remove them. Their app is terrible and doesn't even display your trips. And don't even get me started on all the annoying scam calls from their phone numbers. I used to be a fan, but now I think they're just another awful company that should go under.
Villa booking for 5 people
I just booked a Villa for me and four friends, but when I called the owner, they didn't know about my reservation. I tried contacting customer service a bunch of times, but they weren't very helpful and just ended up giving me a refund. Now I'm stuck without a place to stay during a busy season, which is a huge hassle.
Overall really good services
Expedia is a trusted tarvel company which is seriously amazing if you ar looking for a one time solution for everything. There are so many good options also the customer-oriented services are too good. they have cost-effective options and reaching hotels, airport, train stations etc . I like it so far and unlike other companies, this one is completed focused on offering the best deal and i find it comfortable. Also the access is fast and potential . Apart from good services and there are lots of options i find it really awesome
