Two round-trip flights with baggage
I recently bought tickets for two flights using this service and I also paid for baggage. But then, I had to change one of the flights less than a day before and I was bummed to learn that my baggage purchase didn't carry over. I had to pay an extra $112, which really bothered me and made me feel like I was being ripped off.
Flight booking
I was really unsure about booking a flight with them at first, but I decided to go for it and I'm so happy I did! I noticed that the prices dropped significantly for a better flight after I booked. I gave them a call, and they were able to switch my booking to the cheaper flight and even refunded me the difference. I couldn't believe how much money I saved!
Overpriced flights
This place claims to have great deals for students looking to travel, but honestly, it's pricier compared to other websites. The process of booking is so frustrating and confusing, especially if you're a parent trying to purchase tickets for your children. And let's not even talk about trying to get in touch with them - it's like pulling teeth! When they finally do reply, they end up messing up your seats and only offering a refund. Absolutely absurd!
Missed flight issue
I'm really bummed out about the lack of support from this company. When I missed my flight, I was stuck at the airport for 11 hours with no help from StudentUniverse. The airline did offer a free rebooking, but StudentUniverse didn't help at all despite my calls. It's pretty crazy that they can just leave students hanging like that. This whole situation has really turned me off from using their service again.
Flight booking
It was the worst experience ever. I booked my flight on this website and everything seemed fine - got my confirmation and all my documents. Then, just 4 days before my trip, they hit me with a cancellation email. Like, seriously? And to top it off, they said it would take a whole month to get my money back. Can you even imagine getting screwed over like that right before a trip? Prices are way higher now, too. I should have paid more attention to those negative comments I saw. Each one was right on the money about this shady company.

Overcharged and Refused Reimbursement
My experience with the company was absolutely awful. I thought I had booked two adult tickets for my boyfriend and me, but then we found out at the boarding gate that they were actually youth tickets. We couldn't get on the flight and had to buy new, really expensive one-way tickets last minute. The company only wanted to refund the original ticket cost, which was way less than what we had to pay. Even though it was their mistake, they wouldn't cover the difference, so we were stuck paying out of pocket and super mad. It's just crazy to think that a company can mess up a booking so badly and not own up to it.
Difficult to work with
They're just so difficult to deal with! I tried giving them a call, but I couldn't get a hold of anyone. And let me tell you, their prices are just way too high!

The customer service was really quick and awesome! I had a lot of questions about booking my trip and they answered all of them really fast. It made me feel really at ease knowing that if I had any issues, they would assist me right away. I'm so excited to book through them again!
Gap Year Trip to Australia

My experience with the customer service rep in the USA was awesome. They were super quick to respond even though they were all the way in Egypt and they gave me the help I needed. And even when the call got cut off, they were the ones to call me back. Booking my trip was easy, especially since I'm new to all this travel stuff. All in all, it was a great first time. I had a really bad experience booking a flight recently. I did everything the website asked for - gave my info and payment details - but then got an email saying my flight was canceled because of missing info. I was totally surprised to see they still took more than $2,000 from me without actually giving me my flight. It makes me wonder if this company is for real. Direct flight from Clt to Rome
At first, I was a little unsure about buying my ticket from this company cause I saw some bad reviews. But, I took a risk and booked a nonstop flight from Charlotte to Rome a month ahead of time. I ended up finding a really great deal on their website, way cheaper than other flights I looked at. I was a little nervous, but I went for it and bought the ticket. The next day, I got my ticket and decided to call the airline to make sure everything was legit. Luckily, everything was smooth sailing with no problems. No tricks or hidden fees - just a simple and easy process. I am one happy traveler, that's for sure!
Extra charges and poor service
Definitely recommend booking straight with the airline to save some cash. StudentUniverse charges you for stuff like picking your seat, choosing meals, and getting supposed 'better service', but they don't really come through on those promises. Trip changes nightmare
The student travel company is terrible when it comes to giving refunds or making changes. They keep referring to airline policies and won't even connect you with someone else to help. I ended up losing a significant amount of money because they refuse to assist me in getting my ticket refund.
Ticket booking with card protection
I tried to buy a ticket for 210 euros on this website and they also offered a card protection service. But, I had a problem with the card protection service and couldn't finish the transaction. I still haven't gotten a refund for the failed booking. Just a heads up, be careful using this platform in the future because my experience was not good.
My awful experience
This company is seriously the worst! So, my partner is disabled and he needed some help, you know? I reached out to them for assistance, and they were like, "yeah, no worries, we sorted everything out with the airline." But guess what? When we arrived at the airport, there was nobody to help us at all! It was a total disaster.<br><br>And on top of that, we even paid extra for special meals because my partner has specific dietary requirements. And can you believe it? The airline had no idea about it! We went without food for like 2-3 days! Can you imagine how awful that was?<br><br>We still have a flight back to the UK in a week, and I'm really hoping that it goes smoother this time. But one thing's for sure, I am never, ever using this company again. They're completely unreliable and just plain terrible. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of them, folks!
Flight booked easily
I recently booked a flight to a really cool destination and at first, I was a little nervous because the prices were surprisingly low. But everything turned out awesome! I gave them a call to double-check that my booking was all good and I received my ticket really quickly. Confirming my booking was a breeze too!
