Gift basket for granddaughter's 21st Birthday
This was my first time ordering from GiftTree and I gotta say, I was really happy with how things turned out. I got a gift basket for my granddaughter who is off at college for her 21st Birthday. She really dug the quality of the stuff inside, especially the champagne. We did hit a little bump when it looked like she didn't get the package, but the customer service was on the ball and helped sort things out quick - turns out it was a FedEx mix-up. I bought a gift basket full of chocolates but they arrived all melted because of the Florida heat during shipping. Gift delivery experience
I'm really upset with Gift Tree as a customer. I ordered a gift, but it hasn't been delivered yet after several tries. The reasons they gave, like the person not being home or the delivery person not trying hard enough, just don't cut it. The customer service has been terrible, with no clear answers or solutions. I thought Gift Tree was better than this, especially when it comes to delivering gifts.
Fruit basket purchase
I was totally taken aback when I got my fruit basket delivery. It didn't look anything like the picture online - it was more like a pitiful excuse for a fruit basket. There were just a few fruit pieces and a couple of cookies at the bottom. I could have easily made this myself for way less money. What a letdown!

The packaging looked really nice and I appreciated the personalized note. But gotta be honest, the gift ended up smaller than I thought and some stuff got all melty from the delays in shipping. I ordered this really awesome $200 gift basket for this big event, you know? I even paid extra to make sure it got there on time, but it ended up being late! I was pretty disappointed. I recently bought a neck pillow and it ended up being pretty useless. But what really bothered me was the total lack of customer service that came with it. When I tried to talk to them about the problem, the owner’s attitude was just awful. They didn't want to admit there was an issue, let alone do anything about it. Instead of trying to work things out or fix the situation, they just sent me a super cold and uncaring email. It's so annoying to spend your hard-earned money on something that turns out to be a disappointment, but it's even worse when the company won't own up to their mistakes or even try to help. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone after what I went through.
Engraved gift purchase
The store had a really good selection and they got my order to me super fast. But when I saw the final product, they messed up the engraving. The 2nd and 3rd letters got switched and it was pretty annoying. I tried to email them for help, but I kept getting an error message every time I tried to send it. Finally, they did respond and said they fixed the engraving mistake. The person I gave the gift to seemed happy with it, but I was kind of disappointed with how the whole thing went down.
Late delivery, room mix-up
I bought this gift with perishables for someone in the hospital, and it was supposed to come in two days but it took a whole week! And they put the wrong room number on the delivery, so it got all mixed up. Dealing with the company and UPS to fix it was so annoying, ugh.
