Boulder boots purchase turned disaster
I got these boots thinking they'd last a long time, but they fell apart after a year. The glue didn't hold up, making them junk. When I contacted Customer Service, they weren't helpful at all. It was a letdown and I'm pretty annoyed about the whole situation.
Purchased shoes, sizing issues, zero drop
I was really excited when I first got the shoes I ordered because they looked like they were really well-made, and I was especially looking forward to trying out the zero-drop feature. But that excitement quickly turned to frustration when I realized that the shoes were not sized correctly. Normally, I wear a size 10.5 in all of my shoes, but with Lems, it's like a guessing game depending on the style and color. The inconsistency in sizing is really frustrating, and now I have a pair of shoes that I can't even wear because they don't fit right. And on top of that, they have a strict no-return policy, so I can't even exchange them for a different size. The lack of customer service in helping me with this issue is really disappointing, to say the least.
Wide size shoe purchase
I have big feet, so I was hesitant at first, but I decided to try them out anyway. And, wow, these shoes are amazing! It's so great to finally find a company that gets that everyone's feet are different. The wide size choices are a total game-changer for those of us with bigger feet who have had a hard time finding shoes that actually feel good. I bought some boots and a bunch of shoes, and I am seriously impressed with how well they fit and how good the quality is.
Shoes quality issue
I bought a pair of shoes from this company, but I've noticed that the quality is really bad. The rubber sole on my shoes turned super hard after only a few times wearing them, which shouldn't happen considering how much I paid. I reached out to them about it, but their response was pretty disappointing. They admitted they knew about the issue, but instead of fixing it or giving me a new pair, they just suggested I get them re-soled or buy new ones. And then, they stopped responding to my emails completely. This kind of customer service is not okay and makes me question the company's integrity.
Shoes purchase with rounded heel
I really didn't like those shoes. I tried to ask a question about them, but never got a response. And there's no phone number to call for help. The heel is round, which makes it hard to walk without feeling like you're gonna twist your ankle. Not cool.
Shoes without packaging
I bought something from that store not too long ago, and man, the customer service was really disappointing. They didn't even try to help me when I brought up my issue about the shoes not being packaged right. And then, when I wanted to return them, they wouldn't pay for the return shipping. It's annoying when a company doesn't own up to their errors and can't handle basic customer service. I had high expectations for them, but they totally dropped the ball.
Boulder boots purchase
The boulder boots I bought were a huge letdown. The leather was really stiff and not comfy at all, plus they were way bigger than they were supposed to be. And then, to make matters worse, I had to pay to ship them back, which was just another annoying thing to deal with. Just a heads up, go ahead and skip buying these boots to save yourself some trouble.
Primal trainers in the past, trailhead and chillums in new designs
Oh my gosh, I got these shoes before and they were seriously the comfiest ever. But this time, they weren't as roomy and ran small. I had to order way larger sizes. Like, why mess with something that was already great? And they don't even clearly mention that they're not as wide now - not cool. Also, if you're not in the US, get ready to shell out for customs charges and pricey returns if they don't fit.
Primal 2 shoes
Oh my goodness, I am obsessed with these shoes! They are seriously the best ever. They make my feet, knees, and back feel amazing. I can run like I'm barefoot, but still feel protected. Despite having a torn meniscus and arthritis, these shoes allow me to keep running and stay strong. I've bought about 4-5 pairs of Primal/Primal 2s, the Boulder boot, and the Nine to Five shoes (even though they didn't look good on me, my mom loves them). Just ordered the Chukka ankle boots and I am so excited!
Narrow shoes
I bought these shoes that were super narrow and definitely not made for wide feet. I also realized that they only post positive reviews on the site, which is pretty disappointing because bad reviews could actually be helpful for other people shopping. I wrote a 2-star review for these shoes that never got posted, and that was really annoying.
Chillum and Boulder boot leather
My experience with the Chillum and Boulder boot leather was a bit of a mixed bag. The Chillum shoe, made of thin canvas on top, feels like it might not be the most durable. But I actually like the feel of barefoot shoes, so I decided to keep them even though I have my doubts about how long they'll last. The price of £125 for the Chillum shoe definitely seems too high; I think they're only worth about half of that.
On the other hand, I was disappointed with the quality of the Boulder boot leather. The leather gets scratched easily and lightens in color when it stretches around the toes. I didn't think the recommendation to go half a size up was necessary, as the sizing was fine for me.
But, to look on the bright side, my wife got the Boulder boot in nylon a year ago and they've been super comfy for her. It's too bad that the newer leather version didn't live up to the same standards. It feels like the quality of barefoot and regular shoes has dropped in the past few years, and it's a bummer to see that reflected in my recent purchase.Comfortable shoes with poor build quality
I bought a pair of shoes from Lems Shoes recently, and even though they were super comfy, I was let down by how quickly they fell apart. They started coming apart after only a few times wearing them, and it was obvious they weren't built to last. When I contacted customer service about it, they didn't seem too worried or responsive. It's too bad because the shoes were really comfy at first, but the bad quality and lack of support really overshadowed that.
Primal 2 shoes, backpacking shoes, boots
I love the Primal 2 shoes from this brand! I've tried so many different models from other brands but these ones are just perfect for me. They're wide and rugged, super lightweight, and foldable which is great for my backpacking trips in Asia. I also have a pair of boots from them, not as wide but still really well-made. The customer service I've gotten from this company has always been friendly and helpful. I wish more shoe brands would prioritize quality and comfort like this brand does.
Outdoor shoes purchase
I recently bought these outdoor shoes and they were just alright. I was gonna leave a three-star review on their website ‘cause there was a big issue, but guess what? My review never popped up! I feel like they only show the good reviews to make themselves look good, and that's not cool. I should've checked Trustpilot first!
Travel boots
These boots are amazing! I've been rocking them for months and they are seriously the best. They look cool, feel comfy, and are really sturdy. The sole is super flexible which comes in handy when I need to be sneaky. Honestly, I'm totally in love with these boots!
Wide toe box shoes
I bought some wide toe box shoes from Lems Shoes, hoping they would be comfy, but I was let down by their return policy. They say returns are free, but they don't tell you about the $8 charge for the return label. This made me buy several pairs of the same shoe in different sizes, thinking I could just return what didn't fit without extra cost. Turns out, that's not the case. It's not cool that they don't disclose this info upfront, plus the shoes didn't fit like they were supposed to.
Defective shoes
I bought a pair of shoes from your company not too long ago, but they were defective when they got here. I sent them back right away, but it's been over a week now and I still haven't gotten my refund. Dealing with customer service has been really frustrating and they haven't been very professional. They keep giving me different excuses for why my refund is taking so long, without actually solving the problem. I'm really disappointed with how little your team has been communicating with me and how unclear they've been about everything.
Primal Zen shoes from the UK
I just got a pair of Primal Zen shoes from overseas, and let me tell you, they are seriously amazing! The quality of these shoes is top-notch, and they are so comfy. I can honestly say they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Plus, the design is super cool, so they go great with any outfit. I would definitely suggest these shoes to anyone who wants style and comfort.
Comfortable vegan shoes
I recently bought a pair of vegan shoes from this company and I absolutely love them. They are super comfy and lightweight, perfect for everyday use. The customer service was exceptional and I felt really appreciated as a customer throughout the entire buying process. It's been three years now and I still love wearing these shoes. My favorite are the vegan boulder boots because they're so soft and flexible, perfect for summer. In the winter, I switch to my weathered umber leather boulder boots for extra warmth. I recently got the Outlanders and I'm impressed by how waterproof they are and how great they look. Even my partner is a fan now and has five pairs of his own, with the trainers being his top choice. Overall, I highly recommend this company for their durable and comfortable shoes.
Ergonomic and wide-toe box boots
After dealing with a bunch of problems trying to get my boots sent over to the UK and dealing with terrible customer service, I ended up losing money. But, after I filed a complaint with PayPal, I got a full refund super fast, in just 2 days. I changed my review to 5 stars because once I finally got my boots, I was really impressed by how nice they were. As someone who works in ergonomics, I really recommend these boots to my clients. The wide toe box is awesome, but what really makes these boots stand out is how wide the whole shoe is. I've tried barefoot shoes before that claim to fit naturally, but they were still too narrow and tight around the middle of the foot. Lems boots are the closest I've found to a real barefoot boot. Plus, they're warm and waterproof, so they're great for everyday wear. I'm super happy with my purchase and I'm glad I kept trying to get a pair.
