Saw this on a coworker’s Instagram and grabbed it because the blue jumped out at me. Fits true-ish, the fabric feels soft but slightly thin, and the strap shifts. Design is cute and comfy though — I can see myself wearing it all through fall. Shipped quickly and price was solid with the coupon.
Cute but see-through
I grabbed this dress thinking "cute summer dress" but it’s basically a sheer swim cover — no shape, should’ve sized down. Delivery was fast and customer service handled the return without fuss, surprisingly helpful compared to other places, so that part actually saved the day.
Finally sleeves that fit
Right when I pulled it over my head and the sleeves actually reached my wrists, I grinned - that’s when I knew. Tall and curvy no longer means compromises. Fits my hips without drowning my arms. Wish I’d found them sooner, honestly. Buy your usual size, maybe.
Missing delivery, still waiting
ask for a tracking photo and a firm delivery day before paying, if you can.
Cotton that actually works for me
underwear labels can itch unless you snip them out. Not perfect, but comfy and worth it.
Small win after a rocky start
the blouse looked great in the photos and the color was exactly what I wanted, but it came off boxy, with shoulder seams sitting wrong so it just didn’t flatter. The site didn’t help much either — important garment measurements like shoulder width and sleeve circumference were missing, so I guessed and lost. Returns are also a hassle. They automatically deduct a $7.95 return shipping fee from refunds and expect you to print your own label. No printer? UPS will print it for you, for a fee, which ended up making me pay roughly $11 just to try that blouse at home. That’s not great when you shop mostly online. On the plus side, the website itself is straightforward. I could browse easily on my Android phone, filters and search worked well, and checkout was painless. Because of that and because I needed reliable basics, I gave them another shot and chose styles I already knew worked for me: shorter v-neck tunics with 3/4 sleeves, in colors I wear a lot. I used the site’s sizing tool alongside my own measurements and picked a size that seemed safest. The second delivery arrived on time, and the tees fit much better — shoulder lines landed where they should, and the colors and texture are pleasant. Fabric is thinner than I expected (they’re 100% cotton), so I’ll judge durability after a few washes, but for now they’re comfortable and wearable. So, not perfect — measurements and the returns policy need work — but the shopping experience plus the successful second order turned my mixed feelings into quiet satisfaction.
Ulla Popken never ceases to amaze (in a bad way)
I can't understand what's going on with Ulla Popken. Well, the quality has gotten worse, the sizes don't match, they wrote about it here without me, but I want to tell you my story. My birthday was on September 2nd and I made three orders, we were having a retro party. I ordered black dresses and vests for myself and my sisters (it was cool outside in the evening). Everyone who orders on this site knows that now they charge for delivery despite the order amount and promise expedited delivery. I didn't receive a single order by my birthday. I had to urgently go to the shops, buy clothes. Ulla Popken simply ruined my birthday. I contacted the support service (they should have changed their name a long time ago to a service for completely ignoring buyers) and sent them, probably, three letters, explaining that they simply ruined my birthday. They didn't even apologize to me, they simply didn't answer me. Two weeks have passed and I have received only one of my orders, of course, I will have to send everything back - this is simply not necessary already. By the way, I didn't get an answer to my question about the orders either. There was a problem with the return label - there was no answer either. Bottom line: if everything goes smoothly (which has been happening less and less lately), then most likely everything will be fine, but as soon as you have a problem - this problem becomes yours, because the company doesn't care about the buyer. The motivation, as I understand it, is this - there is a return. Someday you will get this order. Don't need it anymore? - return it. Perhaps the problem is not only in the support service, which ignores buyers, but also in the delivery service, now it is UPS, but it would be logical to assume that if the service works so badly, it might be worth replacing it so as not to lose buyers, but, apparently, buyers are unimportant. Too bad. This company could be ahead of the rest.
Recent clothing purchase
I bought some stuff from this company not too long ago and I gotta say, I was really impressed with how nice the fabrics were. I've been shopping with them for a while now and I've noticed that their clothes are definitely better quality than a lot of other online stores. Being on the taller side at 5'10", I really like that they have options like long tunics and pants with longer inseams. It's nice to finally find clothes that fit right!
Trendy clothing
I've been really happy with all the trendy clothes I've bought here. They fit me so well and look awesome on me every time. I can't wait to keep shopping here and add more stylish pieces to my closet.
Comfortable clothes
I've bought a bunch of comfy clothes from this store and I've always been happy with how well they fit and how good the quality is. They're true to size and hold up even after lots of washes, although some of the brighter colors might fade a bit over time. Overall, they're super comfy to wear and have quickly become some of my favorite pieces in my closet. I've never had any problems with late deliveries and I've never had to deal with trying to return anything.
Summer dress purchase
I bought a cute summer dress from this store last week. I found a coupon to get a discount, so I tried to call Customer Service for help. But, the phone number they gave me didn't work. I tried a few times and got a message saying the call couldn't go through. It was really frustrating not being able to talk to someone to sort things out.
Basic t-shirts
The basic t-shirts I got from this store were a real disappointment. I mean, seriously, who wants their clothes to start fading after just one wash? Definitely not me. It's kind of disappointing because the sweatshirts I purchased were actually really nice. But these t-shirts? No way. And let's not even talk about the random blue fuzz that showed up out of nowhere when I hung one up to dry. What's that all about? Overall, really not impressed.
A cute shirt and a pair of shorts.
I ordered this really cute shirt and shorts, but only the shirt arrived. I waited forever for the shorts! When I called to see where they were, the person I talked to said I couldn't get a refund. That's not fair because I should definitely get what I paid for. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.
Terrible IT and shipping department
I've had really bad luck ordering from this company multiple times. Every time I order, it's a disaster. Their IT and shipping folks can't seem to get their act together and print the right labels, so my packages never arrive correctly. I've had to spend a ton of time and effort talking to UPS to fix their mistakes, which is just not cool. I'd tell anyone in the US to stay far away from this company.
Subscription to newsletters
Oh my goodness, I can't believe it, this company seriously needs to step up their game when it comes to protecting our data! I decided to sign up for their newsletter, but now it feels like they never want to let me go. I tried to unsubscribe, and it said it worked, but I keep receiving emails every single day. I reached out to customer service twice, and they took so long to get back to me, just to say I'm unsubscribed now. But it's been another two weeks, and I've gotten even more emails since then. If a company can't even manage a simple newsletter system, how can we trust them with anything else?
Clothing item
I got my clothes today and they were just like they said they'd be in the tracking info. The quality was even better than I thought it would be, and I'm really happy with what I bought. I'll definitely think about shopping at this store again next time.
Ski pants order
I just bought some ski pants from this website, and I have to say, I was really happy with how quickly they arrived. Even with all the shipping issues going on right now, my order showed up in just 3 days, way faster than I thought. The quality of the pants was top-notch, and they fit me perfectly like they were made just for me. Plus size clothing fit issue
I bought some plus size clothes from that store not too long ago. But man, was I bummed out by the sizing! Some things were way too tight, and others were way too loose. It was a struggle trying to find something that actually fit right. And don't even get me started on the style - it was so out of date! I was really hoping for something more modern and on-trend.
No order, no refund, no response
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company at all. I ordered something, never got it, asked for my money back, still nothing, and when I tried to share my experience, they didn't even reply. Just save your money and find somewhere else to shop.
Recent order was a disaster
I ordered some clothes and they tried to charge me twice! I couldn't even get through to them to sort it out, it was a mess. I had to get my credit card company involved to get my money back. Then, months later, they claim I owe them more money, which is totally not true. And when I tried to call the number on their website, it was for some random medical alert bracelet thing! Like, what even is that? It was so frustrating, I'll never buy from them again.
