    New phone line

    I recently signed up for a new phone line from a company that offered a 7-day trial on their website. But when I tried to cancel today, they told me they wouldn't refund my money if I had added my credit card information. How unfair is that?! It really seems like a scam to me. I feel like they deceived me into paying for something I never intended to buy. I'm really disappointed about the whole situation.

    Renewal service experience

    I've been with this company for years and usually renew my services in October. But recently, there was a $600 charge pending that worried me. When I called customer service, they didn't seem to take me seriously and kept giving me the runaround. It wasn't until the charge went through that they finally admitted there was a problem, but they were still doubtful. Luckily, my bank was able to fix it, but I was disappointed by their lack of responsibility. Because of this, I've made the decision to switch to a different company.

    Toll-free number purchase

    Someone took my money! I paid for a toll-free number, got my business cards made, and then they canceled my account for no reason! I spent over $400 on branding with my new number and now I can't even port it out. It's a total rip-off!

    I had a really awful experience with this company. I closed my account before I even got my check card in the mail, and now they won't even give me my initial deposit back. The customer service is terrible, so I can't even get any help with fixing things.

    Unauthorized monthly charges

    Grasshopper has been a total nightmare for my father, who is in his 90s. He's been getting billed every month for a service he didn't sign up for or know about. It feels like theft and it's just horrible that he has to keep fighting to cancel something he never wanted in the first place. Grasshopper's lack of communication and transparency is not okay and it's really upsetting and frustrating for my dad.

    Oh my gosh, I cancelled my account but I'm still waiting for my refund. What's taking so long? And then they charged my card AGAIN - seriously, how is that fair? And their system doesn't even transfer calls to my phone or respond when I press "1" - they're blaming the carrier? No way, I have Verizon, the top carrier in the US! And they keep changing my settings. It's so frustrating! Grasshopper is the worst, don't even bother.

Turns out, my time with this company was a total nightmare. Even after I canceled my subscription, they kept charging me without asking. Dealing with customer service to get it sorted out was a huge pain and took up a lot of my time. The stuff they promised when they were trying to sell it to me was nowhere to be seen once I actually signed up and paid. The customer service was basically non-existent, with long wait times and people who weren't helpful at all. It felt like a total scam and a complete waste of my time and money. The fact that there was no call recording or other basic functions made me feel like I was stuck in the past, with a service that couldn't keep up.     I'm so frustrated with the support and service I received. They went ahead and canceled my subscription without even giving me a reason why and to top it off, they didn't give me a refund!     Grasshopper really saved the day for me after the total nightmare with Phone.com.     I tried signing up for Grasshopper after my friend recommended it, but it was a complete disaster! I attempted to sign up multiple times from different devices and browsers, but nothing seemed to work. I even reached out to Support, and they basically told me they couldn't help. Can you believe that? How can a company not resolve a simple sign-up problem in this day and age? It was a total mess, and honestly, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone!

    Annual subscription for phone service

    I've been a Grasshopper customer for four years now, and I've had to make four different accounts because of technical issues each time. The customer service team couldn't fix the problems with my first account, so they told me to make new ones several times. Everything was fine with my fourth account until January 2024, when my yearly subscription was suddenly deactivated without warning. I've spent over seven days and four hours on the phone with Grasshopper's Customer Service team, and I still don't know why my account got deactivated. They promised to have a manager call me to talk about the situation and maybe give me a refund for the $900+ left on my subscription. But I'm still waiting for that call from the manager, and it seems like there's no solution in sight.

    Overcharged and poor customer service

    I just had a really bad experience with this company that said they had fair prices and good service. But, turns out I got charged way more than I should have - like hundreds of dollars more, and trying to reach their customer service was impossible. After tons of tries, I found out I had to switch my number to a different carrier before I could cancel my account, and that could take up to 6 weeks. Their shady practices and lack of honesty seriously irked me.

    I just had some tree trimming done and I have to say, I was really impressed by how professional and high-quality the work was. The guy came over, checked everything out, and gave me a detailed quote. Once I agreed, the crew showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up all the mess. They did a great job and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help with their trees.

    Misleading privacy practices

    This company seriously has no respect for customer privacy, like at all! I bought something and next thing I know, I'm getting annoying spam calls from all sorts of random companies. And when I tried to cancel my account, it was a complete nightmare. The customer service was just awful and the reps were zero help. It's obvious that this company cares more about making money off your info than actually making customers happy.
