    Reservation mistake

    I just had the worst experience trying to get a refund for a hotel reservation I mistakenly made for the wrong date. I messed up and booked it for the wrong month, and by the time I realized, it was too late. I reached out to the booking website and the hotel to fix it, but they told me the hotel already gave them back the money, yet I hadn't been refunded. Dealing with customer service was a nightmare - they were no help at all and seemed all over the place. It left me feeling so frustrated and let down. Just a reminder to be extra careful when you're booking stuff like this and make sure to double-check everything so you don't end up in a mess like I did.

    Beachfront hotel reservation

    I had a really bad experience with the hotel reservation I made. I thought I was booking a beachfront hotel, but when I got there, it was nothing like what they showed online. The place was filthy and my room was not cleaned properly, so I had to find a different hotel. To make matters worse, the second room they gave me had blood on one of the pillows, which made me worry about my health. This whole situation ruined my family vacation, and I felt like I had to take pictures to report it to the Better Business Bureau.

    Cancun trip purchase.

    My experience with Bookit was really disappointing. I set up a trip to Cancun for March 2020 and shelled out $1900, but then got an email on March 21st saying it was canceled. The way Bookit hasn't been keeping me in the loop or helping me with getting a refund has been a major headache. It's not right that I have to jump through hoops with my bank just to get my money back a whole year later. I feel like they totally ripped me off.

    Trip booking experience

    I was really let down by the trip I booked through this company. I had everything set up, but then out of nowhere they canceled it and didn't give me any sort of refund or credit. Their customer service was basically MIA - couldn't get anyone on the phone, and they were no help at all in sorting out the problem with my booking. It totally messed up our family vacation and just added a bunch of stress because they wouldn't communicate or take responsibility for the situation. Total bummer.

    I bought this fancy vacation package from this company, and man, what a mess. They didn't follow through with what they promised and wouldn't give me back the money I paid upfront. Dealing with them was a nightmare, and I suggest avoiding them if you want to book a vacation.     Man, this company is the worst! I planned this trip with them and out of nowhere, they canceled it. No heads up or anything. They didn't even bother to give me my money back! How rude can you be? They even let go of all their employees and shut down the phones. Like seriously, who does that? It's so not cool. And now they want me to deal with my credit card company for a refund. Excuse me? That's your job, not mine!

    So, I did what any upset customer would do - I filed a dispute with my bank. And you know what they told me? They claimed they already gave me back the money. But guess what? My bank has no clue about any refund. Can you believe this? This is not how you treat people who trusted you. Decent companies don't just leave you high and dry like that. It's just not cool. So, yeah, I'm never using their services again. Maybe they were alright before, but now they're a total disaster. Don't fall into their scam!

    I really want to warn everybody about my bad experience with Bookit. I booked a trip for my birthday in July 2020, and it got canceled for reasons beyond my control. I've tried reaching out to them multiple times for a refund, but all I get is silence and no help. It's really frustrating and disappointing that they can't even communicate or resolve the issue properly. Just a heads up to steer clear of Bookit, so you don't end up in the same situation I did.

    One night stay booking at a hotel.

    I wanted to share my recent experience with making a hotel reservation in Montreal. I had to cancel my one-night stay 4.5 days before due to testing positive for COVID-19. I was pretty bummed to find out I couldn't get a refund or any other help from the hotel. The customer service was not helpful at all, and honestly, they were pretty rude given the situation. It definitely left me feeling disappointed and out of money for a stay that I couldn't even go on.

    I've been using online travel booking services for a while now, and let me tell you, my recent experience with this company was a total letdown. The customer service was terrible - they hardly communicated at all when problems came up. They'd just cancel trips out of the blue, leaving us to fend for ourselves with no way to get our money back. Me and a bunch of other folks were left high and dry, having to shell out extra dough for new accommodations because of their screw-up.     Covid-19 reservation cancellation

    Bookit said they shut down because of Covid-19 back in March 2020 and they ended up canceling a bunch of reservations, including mine. I've been trying to get my money back through my credit card company because Bookit hasn't been giving refunds to a lot of customers. It's really frustrating and upsetting to see a company act so unfairly. Dealing with Bookit has been a total nightmare.

    Dishonest billing issue

    I had a problem with a motel booking where they charged me for canceling well within the allowed time. Even after showing proof and talking to them, I didn't get my money back. I don't trust this company with their billing.
