Fast money transfer to South Africa
This service has really changed the game for me when it comes to sending money to South Africa. I've tried other services before, but none of them have been as dependable and fast as this one. If I send my money before 11 am on a weekday from the UK, it's in my South African account by the morning. The quick and efficient service is seriously impressive and has saved me a ton of time and stress. I'm so thankful for this convenient way to send money internationally.
Transaction to Nigeria
I had a pretty bad experience with a transaction I made to my cousin's account in Nigeria. The money disappeared out of the blue when she tried to take it out, but then World Remit got in touch with me after I left a review and they fixed the problem right away. I'm really thankful for their great customer service and quick problem-solving. Hopefully, they keep working on better ways to communicate with customers so it's easier to get help when needed.
Multiple transactions, shipping costs
I've used this service a bunch of times and I gotta say, it would be awesome if they offered some discounts for us regular users. Shipping fees can really start to add up, so a little break on the cost would definitely make me want to keep coming back. But I have to admit, the service itself is top-notch - super fast and dependable. Since I started using this app, it's easily become my go-to for sending money abroad.
Money transfer
I sent money from Australia to a South African bank account and it got there by the end of the day. If you do it before 2pm Pretoria time, it'll arrive the same day. Initially, I wasn't too pleased with the service, but the customer service team really looked into my issues and fixed them. Hats off to them for the quick delivery and amazing customer support.
Payment issue due to lack of card reader and QR code compatibility
I ran into a big problem when I tried to send money using the app because I don't have a card reader. The QR code payment option didn't work with my smartphone, even though I selected it. I had trouble reading the code with my device. The app was supposed to switch smoothly between the QR code and the app, but it didn't work like it was supposed to.

The money I send always gets to the recipient's bank super quick, so it's reliable and fast. Refunded transaction
My experience with this transaction was absolutely terrible! I was expecting to get my money back, but World Remit went and sent it to the wrong account. I mean, seriously – I paid with Apple Pay, how could they mess that up? Now I'm stuck having to deal with their mistake and it's really starting to get on my nerves. I usually enjoy using this service to send money back home, but this time they really dropped the ball. All I want is my money back, it shouldn't be this complicated!
Recent payment experience
I wanted to share some feedback about a problem I've been having with my payment service. I've been using it since 2019 and usually it's been pretty good. Lately though, I've had trouble sending money to a certain place. I tried reaching out to customer service but the issue hasn't been fixed. Right now, I only have one choice and it's not really working for me. It would be great if there was more clear communication about any changes to the service.
Delayed refund issue
Yeah, so I had this whole mess with my refund taking forever to get back to me. I've been with them for ages, so I was pretty darn annoyed by the whole ordeal. But, thankfully, they did eventually sort it out to my satisfaction. Apparently, there was a mix-up that couldn't be helped, which I get, but man, it was frustrating. At least they came through in the end, even if it took forever.
