Ordered dark tan boat shoes
I recently bought a pair of dark tan boat shoes from this store, and it was a total disaster. They sent me the wrong color twice, and their customer service was terrible. I contacted DXL Support twice to make sure they sent the right color, but they still got it wrong. And on top of that, they wouldn’t refund the original shipping cost and charged me extra to return the wrong shoes. I ended up losing almost $20, not just once, but twice. This has definitely been one of my most frustrating shopping experiences.
Quality product and great shipping time
DXL always comes through with great products and fast shipping. I've bought from them several times and have never been let down. Their stuff is top-notch and the attention to detail is on point. The website is easy to use, so placing an order is a breeze. The customer service team is helpful and available whenever I need them. The prices are fair for the quality, so I always feel like I'm getting my money's worth. They deliver quickly and make sure my order gets to me on time. All in all, I'm a loyal DXL customer and will definitely keep shopping with them.
Recent wardrobe upgrade
My last shopping trip to the store was totally awesome. The staff really went out of their way to help me find some cool pieces that fit me just right. I was super impressed by how they paid attention to all the little details and gave great customer service. I walked out feeling really good and excited to show off my new look.
Casual dress shoes for work
I bought a pair of casual dress shoes for work at this store not too long ago. The salesperson there said the shoes were good quality and would hold up well over time. Unfortunately, after just a few months of wearing them, I noticed that the stitching on the sides of both shoes is coming undone. It's really disappointing because I need these shoes for work. Dealing with this poor quality is really frustrating.
Great clothes
I absolutely love the clothes at this store, they have the best stuff for big guys like me. But why did they have to close the store in Reading, PA? Now I have to drive two whole hours just to go shopping in Lancaster or Philadelphia. It's a real pain, I can't go as often as I would like to. Please consider opening a new store in Reading or maybe even give us some coupons to make up for the long drive!
Shirt and T-shirt purchase
The other day, I went to this store to pick up a shirt and T-shirt for a family event. But man, the staff there was not helpful at all. I asked for some assistance, and they just kinda pointed in a direction without even making eye contact. I felt unwelcome, you know? I walked around the store feeling lost, and nobody bothered to lend a hand. It seemed like they cared more about neatening up the clothes than helping out customers. It was really frustrating!
Rush order item didn't come
I ordered something online that I really needed for an event, so I paid extra for fast shipping. But you know what? It still didn't come in time! I was so embarrassed at the event without my order. I've had bad experiences with this place before, but I had no other options because nowhere else sells sizes big enough. It's just not fair to promise fast shipping and not deliver on time.
Great Customer Service from Manager
I went to the store recently and had a great experience chatting with the manager. He was super helpful, really patient, and went above and beyond to help me out.
Ordered 2 pairs of pants
I made the mistake of ordering two pairs of pants from this place, thinking they would arrive on time. Boy, was I wrong. The first pair showed up a day late, and the second one took three days longer than expected. So much for reliable shipping. I contacted their customer service to file a complaint, and all I got was a lousy $15 gift certificate as compensation. How generous. They're definitely living up to their reputation as rip-off artists. I tried to file a claim with UPS, but apparently, they handed off my package to USPS, and now it's lost. What a mess. I'm never shopping here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I just bought some clothes from this store and I gotta say, the quality is top-notch. But man, I was really let down by the rush shipping service. I shelled out extra for that speedy delivery, but my stuff didn't show up when they said it would, which is just not cool. And don't even get me started on how they never have what I want in stock at my nearby store. It's a real pain trying to find stuff I actually want to buy.

That's not cool! And let me tell you about the whole coupon situation - it seems like they make it hard for you to get a good deal! Man, let me tell you about my experience with this company - it was just awful. I placed an order from overseas and not only did I have to shell out over $100 for taxes and shipping, but I didn't even get everything I paid for. When I reached out to customer service for help, it was just one excuse after another. They blamed a 45-day international shipping delay at first, then they gave me a new date two months out, and guess what? My order still didn't show up. After going back and forth for three months through emails, they finally 'fessed up that the supplier, Carhartt, had canceled the item. It was obvious they screwed up and were just trying to cover it with a bunch of lies.
$1,500 item return
I made a big purchase at this store not too long ago, but ended up having to return the $1,500 item for a few different reasons. I did everything they asked me to for the return, even putting in a written request for my money back. It's been a while now, though, and still no refund. The complete lack of communication and the delay in giving me my money back has been really frustrating. $1,500 is no joke, and the fact that I still haven't gotten it back is just not okay.
High prices, rewards program, poor value
I was really let down by my most recent encounter with this store. The prices were way too high for the not-so-great stuff they were selling. On top of that, their rewards system was confusing and annoying. Like, I got a $20 gift card for my birthday and a $25 reward that I had to use in just two weeks. But when I wanted to use them during their Veterans Day sale, they said no. It was frustrating how they weren't clear about the rules and wouldn't work with me. It made me feel like they were trying to cheat me as a customer.
Double knit joggers
My experience at the store was really disappointing. I ordered a specific size of double-knit joggers, but I received a different size. When I contacted customer service to try to fix the issue, they didn't want to accept responsibility and just kept making excuses. Even after showing them proof that the size I wanted was available, they still wouldn't admit their mistake. The supervisor I talked to wasn't helpful or sorry at all, and insisted that I had to send back the wrong item before they could send me the right size. This lack of responsibility and bad customer service is just not okay. Because of this frustrating experience, I won't be going back to this store in the future.
Men's clothing for larger sizes
I recently went shopping at a store that specializes in clothing for bigger guys and I have to say, the prices were way too high. When you look at the deals offered at women's stores like buy one, get one free, buy one, get one half off, or discounts of 40%, the prices at this store just seemed unreasonable. It was frustrating to see that when things finally went on sale, only sizes 1xl to 3xl were left, which you can easily find at places like Walmart. It felt like the store wasn't really trying to appeal to a variety of customers, which definitely made it harder for us to shop there more often. What really got to me was the lackluster attitude of the employees, they didn't seem too excited to help out customers. Altogether, the combination of high prices and bad customer service just didn't sit right with me.

Wide range of casual to formal wear for big guys
I thought they had a good selection of clothes for bigger guys at this store. But man, when I checked out the prices, I was like whoa! I found the exact same jacket and jeans at another store for way cheaper. The prices here are just ridiculous, no way I'm coming back.
