Quality of products
I think the products are really high quality. But, I did notice that some of the colors looked a bit different in person compared to online, they seemed darker. Overall, though, I'm happy with what I bought.
Local shopping and trying to redeem an online voucher
I had a really good experience shopping at the store recently, so I decided to use the online voucher they sent me. I tried multiple times to make a payment, but it just wouldn't go through. I contacted customer service to let them know how frustrated I was, but they didn't even say sorry or show any empathy. They just said they were renovating the shop to avoid these issues. If the website is faulty and they're still operating, it doesn't make sense. And it would have been nice to get an apology. Oh well, I'll just take my business to another store.
Unwanted emails
I've never bought anything from this store, but I keep getting spam emails and fake "congratulations on your first purchase" messages. It's pretty clear that this is a scammy website, so I'd tell other people to steer clear. It's annoying to keep getting emails from a company I've never even bought from and don't plan to. The fact that they're tricking people with shady tactics is sketchy and not cool. I'd say definitely avoid this site.
Disappointed with lack of customer service
I was pretty disappointed with the customer service at that store. The person working there seemed like they were just filling in temporarily, they didn't really know much about the products, and they weren't very helpful. We had to find everything ourselves and nothing was organized properly. But, they were at least friendly. We usually get great service because we're loyal customers, but this time was a letdown. And even though there was supposed to be a deal where you get one pair of pants free when you buy three, we got charged for all three pairs. The staff couldn't fix the mistake, so we'll have to go back next week to sort it out. Overall, I would only give them one star because of the poor customer service, even though the quality and service are usually top-notch.
Anniversary bonus issue
This place is just awful! They really messed up by taking away my anniversary bonus when I was just trying to use my credit. It feels like a scam, you know? They don't seem to care about their loyal customers one bit. I ended up having to cancel my order and I definitely won't be shopping here again. And to top it off, they don't even bother to respond to emails when you try to talk to them about the problems. Their service is just terrible!
Flawed jacket purchase
I bought a jacket at your store not long ago, but I was bummed when the buttons got loose and the pocket seams started coming undone after only wearing it a few times. I reached out to customer service to complain, but all they said was I couldn't get a replacement and should take it to a tailor for fixing and then send in the receipt for a refund. I don't think that's fair at all - I shouldn't have to do so much work to fix a product that's faulty. Plus, I live in a rural area, so finding a tailor nearby isn't easy for me.
Uneven Pants Purchase
I recently bought two pairs of men's pants from this store, and I was really disappointed because one pair was 10 cm shorter than the other. To make matters worse, the shorter pair was missing a belt loop. It was obvious that this was just a mistake during production. When I tried to return the pants, they told me in a rude way that I missed the 14-day return window. How can they not accept returns for faulty items? Instead, they told me to take the pants to a tailor and they'd refund me for the alteration. This kind of customer service is not okay and I've never heard of this happening before.
Order not received, poor customer service
I bought something about a month ago and still haven't gotten it or gotten my money back. I've reached out to customer service a bunch, but they haven't been able to help me out at all. Now they're just telling me to be patient, like that's good enough. It's not. Supposed to get my stuff in 2-4 business days, and it was supposed to be a birthday present. I'm not gonna shop with them again and I definitely can't suggest them to anyone.
Pants with color issues
I had this problem with these pants that totally lost their color after just a few times washing them. So, I decided to reach out to customer service and it only took about 9 days from start to finish to get everything sorted out - from filing the complaint to sending back the pants and getting a refund. The whole process was super smooth and quick, and I really appreciate how fast they fixed the issue. My husband buys stuff from them all the time and he’s sticking around as a happy customer.
Faulty shirts returned effortlessly
I bought two shirts back in September. After washing them only twice, I noticed the color on the collar had faded and it looked pretty worn out. So, I decided to return them to the store. The customer service there was exceptional, and I was able to get my money back without any issues.
Overpriced jacket
I've been buying stuff from this place for a good bit now, but that black jacket I got back in '23 was a real letdown. The zippers always get stuck, the outer material doesn't breathe, the inner pockets are too big and not even secure, the logo on the left arm is all bent out of shape, and the letters are starting to look all jagged. I didn't expect such low quality from this brand. As a customer, I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Pants size correction
I had such a great time at that store! At first, I couldn't find the right size pants, but the staff was super helpful and helped me order the perfect size to be delivered to my house. The pants fit like a glove and they look amazing on me. The customer service was top-notch and I really valued the knowledge and help of the staff in finding the right fit for me. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and the service I got.
Menswear shopping
I went to this store the other day to check out the menswear, and I gotta say, the staff there was really on top of things. They knew their stuff and were super friendly. The customer service was top-notch too. It made shopping there a really nice experience.
Steppjacke (puffer jacket)
I got a puffer jacket back in March 2022, but I only wore it a couple of times when I noticed the color was fading after the second wash. I reached out to customer service online and filed a complaint about the jacket. They got back to me in a day and told me to send the jacket back with a return label, which I did right away. Surprisingly, I got refunded the full amount within just two days, even though I bought the jacket over a year ago and raised the issue in November 11, 2023. The customer service was top-notch, definitely worth 5 stars! Shoutout to the customer service team for doing an amazing job!
Online shopping experience
After a big mess-up with my order at another store, I went to Engbers for some much-needed help. The service at the Stralsund location was amazing - from the friendly staff to getting free delivery on items they didn't have in my size. They even said I could bring stuff back to the store if it didn't fit right. That's what I call excellent service.
T-shirt and jeans
I got this really awesome t-shirt and jeans from a store that I thought would be amazing, but they turned out to be really bad quality. The t-shirt was all washed out and the jeans felt like they were going to rip after just one wear! I was so let down because I used to really like that store, but now I definitely won't be shopping there again.
Satisfied with the clothing selection
I really like the clothes they have at this store. Every time I've gone, I've bought a bunch of stuff and I've never been disappointed with the quality or the style. The people who work there know their stuff and are super friendly, which makes shopping there a great experience.
Returned clothing not recognized
I tried to bring back some clothes at that store, but they still want me to pay. I wouldn't recommend shopping there since there's always some kind of problem. The clothes they sell have gotten a lot worse lately, and they're charging way too much for stuff that's not even good quality.
Men's clothing items
I recently bought three men's clothing items from this store, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with how things have gone after the purchase. One item was great, just like I expected, but the other two didn't quite cut it and had to be sent back. Dealing with the return has been a real pain - it's taken forever and feels like such a hassle. The tracking info shows the store got the items weeks ago, but they haven't done anything about it. I've tried reaching out to customer service, but nothing has been resolved. This lack of communication and slow response to returns is not cool and doesn't give a good impression of the store's customer service.
My new hoodie and jeans
I went to this store for some shopping and let me tell you, it was such a drag because of this lady working there. She was incredibly rude and gave off the vibe that I was bothering her. I just wanted to grab a hoodie and jeans, not deal with attitude from a salesperson. I definitely won't be going back there, that's for sure!
